Fuel Surcharges for orders placed offline
Hilti utilizes a diesel index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. The charges are based on Hilti’s historical correlation between Canadian diesel price per liter averages and fuel surcharges we pay to our carriers for the delivery of our products.
Adjustments to the surcharge will be effective the first Monday of each month and posted approximately one week prior to the effective date.
The surcharge will be based on the CA Average On Retail Fuel Prices reported by the Kent Group for the 4 weeks prior to the first Monday of the month.
If Diesel Fuel prices reach $.64 or below, there will be no fuel surcharge applied to orders.
