COVID-19 Update

Your work is essential and Hilti is ready to help keep your jobsites productive.

Your work within construction is essential to the fabric of our nation. And while so many of us are experiencing mandates to work from home, jobsites remain open at many locations.

We remain fully operational to support you. And, we remain fluid to adapting to change along with you.

We are here to assist you with timely completion of your jobs while working to help ensure the overall safety of both workers and the finished structure. Here is the status of our key capabilities.  

  • Our account managers, technical teams, and specialists in the field are now working from home and will not visit jobsites or customer offices unless there is a specific request which cannot be handled virtually. 
  • When a jobsite visit is requested, our team will respond while taking recommended Centers for Disease Control precautions.
  • Our stock levels are at normal levels.
  • Hilti’s manufacturing plants are open and our production is running smoothly. We have a network of redundant manufacturing locations that has given us the ability to minimize the potential impact of geographic disruption.
  • Hilti Stores are fully stocked and remain open for will call.
  • For will call, customers phone Hilti Customer Service in advance to arrange product pick up to limit person-to-person contact. The exception would be stores in areas where the local authorities have deemed non-essential stores be closed.  We are updating store hours on (US) and (Canada).
  • Tool Service Centers remain open for service, repair and calibration and our teams are upholding our repair time promise.
  • Our Distribution Centers are critical to getting our customers the products they need – when and where they need them. We are open but ask you to give Customer Service a phone call in advance to arrange product pick up in support of social distancing.
  • Our Customer Service teams remain available to support you at 1-800-879-8000 (in the U.S.) and 1-800- 363-4458 (in Canada). Hours of operation are 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST Monday – Friday.
  • Our websites (US) and (Canada) are available for you around the clock.

As ever, safety is paramount for both you and our team members. We are following CDC guidelines but if you have safety protocols in place beyond those precautions, please let us know and we’ll work to accommodate those as quickly as possible to keep a high level of service our customers expect.   

We will remain responsive to you and to the changes in the world. In fact, we are working now to assist the communities in which we work, by actively taking inventory of cleaning supplies and protective gear like masks and gloves to potentially give to local healthcare operations in need.
