Hilti Connect Overview

We are driven to offer the best professional tool and asset management services for your company.

The Hilti Connect app is part of our vision to create a connected jobsite along with ON!Track, our Asset Management solution, and connected tools whether that be with Bluetooth or NFC (Near Field Communication). Hilti Connect provides instant access to unique tool information that helps you make informed decisions on the jobsite on what to do with tools that need to be serviced.

The Hilti Connect App will help you:

  • Stay up to date with your tools' service status and repair history
  • Request a maintenance or repair service with the touch of a button on your smart phone
  • Get immediate access to relevant "how-to" videos and manuals, OSHA Silica dust standards, or check out related products that help get the job done effectively

The relevant information about all your Hilti tools is accessible via the app and NFC tag inside the tool, allowing you to easily identify the tool and access all its unique information even when the serial number is unreadable.

To access your tool data in the Hilti Connect app, you need a Hilti Online username and password.

Identifying Tools

There are 4 ways to be able to identify a Hilti tool. Each way is effective and gives you access to relevant tool information.

  • NFC - Use your NFC enabled phone to scan the Near Field Communication (NFC) tag under the rating plates of our tools to have access to that tool's information and repair history. NFC enabled tools have a connected symbol on the rating plate.
  • Tool Type - Once you're logged in to the app, you can type in the tool description (ex, "TE 60") to find a specific tool.
  • Serial Number - Each Hilti tool has a unique serial number that is transferred to your customer account at the point of purchase. By typing the serial number into the search bar, you can see all relevant information and send it in for repair.
  • Bluetooth - For our DX 9, DX 5 and BX 3. View shot count and usage information and receive alerts when you need to clean your tool or schedule maintenance.
