In 3.1.8.3. (5) there is a relaxation in firestopping with drywall attached directly to wood framing. How do you compensate for rated assemblies that have resilient channels - what about the gaps at joints?

Is the standoff distance from top of concrete to underside of fixture, or from top of concrete to top of fixture?

any method for fire stopping pipes penetrate through walls or floor on 45 degree angle (for pipes sizes 1 1/2 and 2 inch)

Canadian Code requires a FT fire stop where walls meet ceilings as per the detail above. Does this detail provide a 1 hour FT rating if the ceiling GWB is mounted to resilient channels not directly to the joists? Acoustic consultants require the ceiling top GWB to be spaced away from the wall GWB 1/8 - 1/4, does this comply wi...

Comparing the above anchor with HIT-ICE adhesive anchor, both have in-service temperature below -40 C, however it seems above anchor has more advantages. which adhesive anchor is the best for fatigue and cyclic forces, for service under -40 C? please advise

Hello, I was wondering about firestopping metallic pipes with a coupling penetrating a barrier (in general, for both concrete floors and gypsum walls). I haven’t been able to filter for this specific condition. However, several systems, such as W-L-1412 and W-L-1410, clearly depict a pipe with a coupling in the drawings, even...

Hi we plan to use Re500 post installed rebar for a buried small wall that doweled into existing track slab, the loading on the wall will be train load, shear and tension, is there capacity reduction comparing with static loading? Thanks. Emily

I was referred here from the main Hiliti page when asking the question on the software required to run the AT documentation and all the downloads are a file that is an update for PROFIS

Every listing for firestopping plastic pipes through concrete floor allows for bottom collar installation only. What are the reasons for that?

The duct have been welded but there is grease passing through. Would like to know if we can apply a product that would prevent the grease from leaking.
