More options for more secure connections
Power-actuated fastening systems are recognized as a safe, acceptable and cost effective method of making quick, repetitive fastenings into various construction base materials such as concrete, steel, masonry and wood.
Our fastening technology uses either powder-actuated cartridges, compressed gas canisters or battery-powered mechanical action to drive fasteners into the base material.
Without the need for external power sources, the Hilti fastening solution is portable, fast and lightweight allowing for reliable fastenings in difficult access areas on today’s construction sites.
Interior finishing
Fasteners for concrete and steel base materials
Hilti mechanical fastening systems increase productivity on the jobsite as they do not require pre-drilling of the fastened or base material.
Direct fastening is a quick and convenient fastening solution for light-duty applications such as drywall track or interior partition wall, wood sill plate, ceiling wire and hangers, structural wood panel sheathing and thermal insulation attachment.
Cold-formed steel perimeter wall and curtain wall
Powder-actuated solutions
Perimeter wall applications and light gauge steel curtain walls are common in steel and concrete structures. Light gauge steel framing and track along the outside perimeter of the building can be fastened directly to steel framing members or concrete slab edges using Hilti powder-actuated fastening solutions.
Hilti offers attachments solutions for track fastening and deflection slip clip connections, also in cooperation with main clip manufacturers.
Furthermore, Hilti powder-actuated fasteners may be used to attach steel track to steel in all Seismic Design Categories (for more details, please refer to ICC-ES reports in Approvals & Reports section).
Mechanical and electrical
Solutions for pipe hanger supports, cable and conduit attachments
We offer a large assortment of rod hangers, threaded studs, ceiling hangers, cable holders, cable clamps, cable ties and conduit clips to support routing of mechanical and electrical lines for telecommunications and premise wiring applications. Most of these fasteners can be used to suspend light-duty mechanical or electrical elements from either concrete or steel base materials.
Steel and metal
Fastening systems for corrugated steel roof and floor deck
Hilti's alternatives to traditional welds are code-compliant solutions that offer many advantages to the building owner, designer and installer such as jobsite flexibility, productivity gains and easy inspection.
Frame fastening systems consist of powder-actuated fasteners for attachment of a wide variety of steel deck profiles to structural steel and open web steel joists / bar joists or screw fasteners for attachment to bar joists or gauge purlins. Sidelap fastening systems consist of screw fasteners for attachment of steel deck panels to adjacent panels.
