Can a wrapstripbe wrapped around a PVC coupling?

We encountered a situation where a 4" XFR running through a slab (no cast-in device in place) has to be firestopped. Because of the layout it would be preferable to do so as close to the ceiling as possible. The problem is, this part of the pipe has a coupling on it preventing the installation of a 4" collar. The only available listing without a collar is C-AJ-2863 which utilizes Z-frame and layers of wrap strip. Can these wrap strip be wrapped around the coupling itself? Photos attached.
