Hilti's Metal Deck Power-Actuated Fastening solutions may be considered for both applications. However, there are parameters of the diaphragm design that may influence the selection of one fastening solutions from another. For example, the X-HSN 24 Frame fastener has supportive testing for use into a base steel thickness range of 1/8" to 3/8" and the X-ENP-19 L15 frame fastener has supportive testing for use into a base steel thickness range of 1/4" and greater.
