ATC (Active Torque Control) is Hilti’s advanced technology designed to help protect against tool kickback. When a drill bit suddenly binds in concrete or hits hidden material, the tool body can twist violently—a common cause of jobsite injuries.
The Electronic Slip Clutch (ESC) is an advanced control feature engineered to protect your equipment and optimize performance. The system quickly reduces or cuts motor power, helping to minimize the risk of drill bits jamming when hitting rebar. This helps maintain higher productivity, supports application reliability, and helps extend the life of your drill bits. It also delivers higher control during application, particularly on brick walls with core bits. Furthermore, ESC helps preserve the tool's components, increasing its overall lifetime.
Hilti’s 3D AVR (3-Dimensional Active Vibration Reduction) system is engineered to help increase operator protection and drilling comfort. Built for the TE 8-22 and TE 30-22 cordless rotary hammers, this system reduces vibration across all three axes, delivering a smoother, more controlled drilling experience.
At its core, 3D AVR uses a combination of precision-tuned springs and elastic bellows. These components work together to absorb and dampen vibration energy before it reaches your hands, helping to reduce fatigue during extended use.

Battery
For our larger SDS-plus rotary hammers like the TE 8-22, choose B 22-195 Nuron battery – a high-capacity 22V Li-ion battery built to boost the performance and run time of medium- to heavy-duty power tools. Compatible with all Nuron cordless tools.

Drill bits for concrete and masonry:
SDS-Plus (TE-CX or TE-C): Ideal for smaller rotary hammers, these bits are designed for anchor drilling in concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry and brick.
Chisels
For demolition, chipping, and precision breaking in concrete/masonry, use pointed/flat chisels (TE-C). Self-sharpening designs (e.g. TE-CX FP) help reduce downtime.

Stop drill bits and anchor setting tools
For consistent hole depth and accurate installation of HSC, HKD, and HDI anchors, use dedicated stop drill bits and anchor setting tools.
1. Remove battery or unplug
Always unplug corded tools or remove batteries from cordless models before cleaning to prevent accidental activation.
2. Remove stubborn dirt
Carefully remove stubborn dirt from the tool.
3. Clean air vents
Carefully clean the air vents, if present, with a dry, soft brush.
4. Clean housing
Use only a slightly damp cloth to clean the housing. Do not use cleaning agents containing silicone as these can damage the plastic parts. Use a dry, clean cloth to clean the contacts of the product.
1. Disconnect power
Always unplug corded tools or remove batteries from cordless models before storage.
2. Choose your suitable location
Store the product (and the batteries) in a cool and dry place where they cannot be accessed by children or unauthorized persons. Never leave batteries in direct sunlight, on sources of heat, or behind glass.
3. Do not store batteries in chargers
Avoid leaving batteries mounted on chargers for extended periods of time. As a best practice, disconnect chargers and remove batteries once charging is complete — particularly for storage and transport.
4. Inspect before and after storage
Prior to each use and before and after prolonged storage, check the product and the batteries for damage.
20 Year Limited Warranty²
Defects in Material and Workmanship
Hilti will repair or replace parts that break as a result of defects in material or workmanship for 20 years.
2 Year Wear and Tear Coverage³
No cost coverage
Hilti will repair tools at no cost for 2 years from the date of purchase. Damage due to normal wear and tear is covered, including parts, labor, and shipping.
1 Day Repair Turnaround⁴
In and out of the repair center in one day, guaranteed, or the repair is free.
If Hilti does not repair a tool the same day it is received in a Tool Service Center then the repair is free - including parts, labor and shipping.

Please note that damage due to abuse, or use not in accordance with the tool operator’s manual are not covered and are charged. The following consumable items are excluded from the no cost coverage period and repair or replacement of those items shall be at customer’s expense: [adapt list to MO-specific requirements] pistons, buffers, and spring clips for powder actuated tools, pull cord assemblies and filters for gas saws and filters for vacuums, and hydraulic jaws, blades and dies for hydraulic tools.
(4) 3-Day Repair Period: While Hilti will aim to get your tools back to you within the stated 3 day period, turnaround times are not guaranteed and any claims in case of longer repair periods are excluded. Hilti is not liable for any damages or losses caused by later delivery of the repaired tool.
[If 3-day or free applies, add the following, plus any MO-specific disclaimers:] “3-days or free” offer is only available until further notice and can be stopped by Hilti at any time. 3-day turnaround time does not apply in case of force majeure events, for [insert products], for [insert additional restrictions, for example regions] and quotations.
