Hilti X-ENP Metal Deck Fastener
What is the embedment depth of the Hilti X-ENP Metal Deck Fastener into structural steel? I understand the minimum base steel thickness required is 1/4", but if I have say 3/8" thick steel, will the Hilti X-ENP fastener go through the steel flange?

Hello,
The X-ENP-19 L15 fastener's performance is typically based on a 1/2" minimum penetration depth though or into base steel. There are some scenarios that support a shallower penetration depth as referenced in the footnotes of Hilti's Direct Fastening Technical Guide and ESR-2197. Please see section 3.5.3.3 Technical Data in our Technical Guide Excerpt for the X-ENP 19 and Table 17 in ESR-2197 for more information.
