Special inspection of firestop has been a hot topic in the construction industry for quite some time. Recent changes have been made to the International Building Code (IBC) related to firestop inspection, and this presentation will walk through those changes in addition to discussing the International Firestop Council's (IFC) special inspection education program. There will also be discussion on general inspection requirements per the code and take a step-by-step walk-through approach to discuss on-site inspection.
